I have always carefully read every question, every time. I just don’t trust the BATFU peckerheads not to change questions so they can trip people up.

Many folks think that the 4473 goes to the feds after the sale, which is not the case. They see the forms during an audit or possibly for a trace or when the dealer goes out of business. Jack.

Hmm . . . if I check White Cacucasian, doesn’t that mean I’m not Hispanic? Yes, I’m aware that there are white Hispanics, but apparently our government isn’t smart enough to figure that out. After all, there are also white Blacks, and black Whites, Brown and Red Indians, and so on. Yet if they insist on categorizing us, why, when I choose one catgegory, that arbitrarily takes me out of all the other categories.

They go to the ffedds if a business goes defunct…or has to change FFL’s. For example, nearby Vances merged with another store, Buckeye Outdoors…and in doing so, had to get a new FFL, I was told.
The forms all went to Dee See. All. Meaning, the couple dozen odd blasters I bought there, the yellow forms now are…likely stored on a computer database so as to ease space constraints.
A person who used to have one of those “home FFL’s” years back, when they didn’t renew, their records were picked up.
Not that I ever wish I hadn’t put pen to paper on one of those…but that’s not the point. I haven’t filled out one in about six years in an effort to slow the approach of my need for a second safe…

The form change has nothing to do with F&F. It has to do with a change to all Federal forms. It is possible to be Hispanic and also be white, black, or Asian, as Hispanic is not a race, it is an ethnicity.
All Federal forms are now required to meet this requirement. Nothing sinister here, just bureaucracy.
