You dawg, we heard you liked weapons

A knife you can mount on your ARs picatinny rail. Because bayonets don’t exist.

Bayonet lugs are still illegal in the occupied states.

  2. Sid Says:

Not trying to be picky or anal. This is a knife holder on your rifle. NOT a bayonet. I knife is much more useful in urban warfare than a bayonet. The designer is simply allowing a knife to be held on the Picatinny rail of the weapon.

Wonderful, so you can lose both at the same time.

Actually, this might make sense in some legal BS situation. You are certainly open-carrying a non-folding knife until you lock it up for transport.

  4. Bubblehead Les Says:

I seem to recall that some Army Yahoo ordered Bayonet Training in Boot Camp be canceled because it was “no longer relevant on the Modern Battlefield” about a year or so ago.

Funny thing that. My MP Buddy found it VERY Relevant during his 3 Tours to Iraq. Something about a Sharp Pointy Thing coming at your Face seems to send Protesters skedaddling.

But hey, what does some Grunt who’s Been There and Done That know about the Modern Battlefield compared to some guy who last saw Gun Fire when he was shooting Skeet?

  5. Rivrdog Says:

Sid ++. More Tommy Tactical. Totally unnecessary. Carry the knife on your body somewhere like the rest of the non-Tommy world does.

  6. Rivrdog Says:

BTW, if you are that Tommy, cure yourself by removing all the 1919 rails from your weapon except the one which supports your main optical sight. Now go to the range and practice with that rifle, without all the Tommy stuff on it. I’ll wager, here and now, that you are a better shooter without all that “coolness” on your rifle.

Life is NOT like the movies.

  7. HL Says:

RIFLE IS FINE. YOU FUCK IT, IT ONLY GET HEAVY AND YOU STILL NO HIT LARGEST SIDE OF BARN. GO TO FIRING RANGE, PRACTICE WITH MANY MAGAZINE OF CARTRIDGE. THEN YOU NOT NEED DUMB SHIT PUT ON SIDE OF RIFLE.

A Mosin-Nagant already comes with a big knife on it.

    You are welcome.

  9. Huck Says:

Now to my understanding, a knife is supposed to be something that you can use if you lose your rifle. So what good is mounting your blade (last ditch weap) on the rifle going to be to you if you lose your rifle? Just carry it on your belt or in a pocket.

Hell, I’ve seen ARs with so much crap mounted on them it must have doubled the weight. (“Is that a rifle? I see something that looks like a barrel under all that junk”)

  10. Critter Says:

i like the tactical sliong mount/bottle opener.

The 11-1/2″ blade on my M1898 Krag is bigger and longer.

  12. Jerry Says:

    That’s not a knife, THIS is a knife…….

    Um… WHY??? 🙁

  14. HerrBGone Says:

I have this vague recollection of an antiquated term. Something about a “pocket knife.” Or was that “sheath knife?” Iduno. I rather prefer the idea of not having all my eggs (or weapons for that matter) in one basket.

  15. TomcatTCH Says:

    I can’t think of a reason to have a knife, in a sheath, on a firearm……

    Sights? Of coarse.
    Light? Yes.
    Laser? I guess
    Sling mounts? Depends
    Bi-pod? Certain rifles.
    A knife sheath? I don’t get it.

I can’t think of anything else that “tactical tommy” would slap on a rail.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
