Democrats: A Democrat-controlled election board in a southern Illinois county has kicked four Republican candidates off the November ballot for using paper clips instead of staples on their filings.

But paperclips are reusable, and therefore a green technology, how can this fit in with the rest of their blather? Unless they just make up whatever the hell they want, is that it?

Reminds me of the time in the last election where some state trashed all the Overseas Military Absentee Ballots because they weren’t signed at the Bottom. Turns out there wasn’t a place TO sign on the Bottom because they never printed the signature block.
Then the Democrats got booted out of office 2 years later, and the problem was fixed.
Funny how that works.
