First they came for the . . . wait, who did they come for first? There’s so many I can’t keep up

Tam to the pudgy Americans: Come sit back here in the back of the bus with us smokers.

And did you know that the cumulative extra weight is the equivalent of an extra 242M people on the planet. You resource hogs, you.

I can tell they’re serious about going after the two-trippers because of the junk science, just like global warming and smoking.

So, on average, everyone is ~4% overweight?

As a supplementally-sized American, I resemble the remarks noted by the woman in the smokin’ clothes.

In 2007 I lost the weight of a 6th grader. Since then I have regained it.

Where do I apply for my carbon credit for the amount I removed from my torso, reducing my consumption of the planet’s resources? And for the carbon more recently sequestered within my man-boobs, expansive belly, fat a$$ and cellulitic thighs?

Being fat should be worth something, according to the logic of the article describing this crisis.

    From The Economist in 2010:

‘If Mexico is not careful, Guinness may soon award it another title. In the obesity stakes, the United States takes the cake. But Mexico comes a close second, and has a higher proportion of merely “overweight” citizens than do the gringos. Seven out of ten Mexican adults are overweight, and three out of ten are obese, according to a recent study by the OECD. In Chile and Brazil, the two other Latin American countries in the 40-country survey, just 22% and 14% fell into the chubbiest category.’

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
