Lesson learned
Well, I learned that a .380 won’t penetrate a butane tank. And the guy who did it didn’t learn much since he’s dead:
When the teen’s girlfriend refused to handle the gun, Torres pulled out the gun’s clip and turned to a butane tank, the Monitor reported.
“He fires one time and shoots himself in the head,” Trevino said, adding that Torres’ family was living in the U.S. illegally.
Bounced off the tank, apparently. Hopefully, the other two learned not to drink and shoot guns.

Proves a .380 can do the job, even on the rebound, but shot placement is still key; he hit himself in his weakest part.
