Heh there is a comment by an Anon pointing out how the writer didn’t give the number of against and non responding sheriffs thereby likely hiding that the against were not in the majority considering 35 of the 77 were for or neutral in their stance.

The stupid from those reporters is painful.
I especially like the whole “officers are trained in weapon retention” as if civilians who carry are too stupid to think ‘Gee, someone might try and take my gun’ and would walk around with their head up their backside.

The reporter updated with a number for the anti sheriffs, 32 so that means that 10 did not comment/respond.
32 of 77 being against OC is a little higher than I thought it would be for Oklahoma, that’s too bad, but luckily there is nothing they can do (legally).

Yeah…”bad guys” just LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to advertise that they’re armed.
Y’know, anything they can do to ensure that people will notice them (especially cops and armed citizens).
This is exactly why all bad-guys wear a black mask that covers only their eyes, and a black and white striped shirt, and carry “burglary tools” around in broad daylight.
Or have I just been watching too many of the same cartoons as these sheriffs?
