My Assault Muzzleloader was designed after the primary military arms of the early 1800s, so by that reasoning it’s sole purpose is to kill humans. Same goes for the longbow, the sling, the club, et al. The game of baseball is an analog for combat– it’s all about hitting things, throwing things and running.

Whole lotta stupid in the comment section. The normal PSH, including gun-owners wishing things were like they were in the Wild West. I’d hope so, considering crime was lower then and there.

Why We Are Winning
Note that this clown could only get his rant published by the NYT. And note how much he has to rely on misleading his audience and how he promotes the use of weasel words to advance the cause of gun control. The gun control crusaders can’t win with straight talk.
The simple fact is the facts are on our side, and the only way the enemy can make progress is by deceit. And deceit is not a winning long term strategy for swaying public opinion. They lose. We win.
