Remington may leave NY

If the microstamping bill passes. The bill and COBIS have been removed from the budget.

    So if microstamping isn’t in the budget, but the removal of funding for COBIS is, that’s a good thing, right?

    The budget can pass and go to the Governor and it won’t include microstamping but will get rid of COBIS.

    They should just move it to North Carolina makes more sense to have all based there.

    I think South Dakota has been wooing quite a few gun manufacturers in gun-averse states.

    So if COBIS is defunded doesnt that effectively prevent all new sales of guns in NY?

    Aren’t they already HQed in NC? I don’t think it would take a lot to get them to move the rest of their operations out of Tartarus, er, New York.
