Lapdogs in the press
At a time when there are advisories against travel to Mexico (in part because a bunch of drug lords are using guns provided by the ATF to kill people), the president’s daughter goes there for spring break. The white house asks the press to scrub the story and it does.
And our next lapdog involves a case where police shot and killed a charging boxer puppy and, in the crossfire, managed to kill a chihuahua. The press reports on how the police were forced to defend themselves from these terrible and fierce creatures.
