Apparently, WI doesn’t allow access to the database of people who have carry permits. This has the press and the anti-gunners (but I repeat myself) upset. The anti-gunners want to snoop through your stuff and make sure you’re law-abiding. And the press likes to draw traffic to its websites by publishing lists of carry permit holders on occasion.

You can add the anti-gunners at the San Jose Mercury News in no-issue Califorina to that weasel list of carry-publishers.

But, on the pro-side to publishing carry-permit holders, its always nice to ferret out pro-gun control judges and politicians who are fine with allowing themselves to carry.

Yeah, I feel real comfortable allowing MSNBC access to the all the Permit Aolders, who can then “leak” it to SEIU, ACORN, et.al.

Imagine a scene where a Permit holder is confronted by a seemingly dangerous situation, crafted to provoke a response while being filmed for propaganda purposes. Even minor situations could be distorted and followed up by false complaints against the Permit holder.
