    Wow.

Here is a shorter version of why TSA is made of fail:
At the Austin, Texas airport, TSA screening creates a crowded rectangular boxed-in snaking back & forth queue of persons awaiting screening, often about 200 people, right at the doors opening onto the street entrance to the terminal. A perfect target for a hand grenade has been established, that never exited before, with no way to stop an attack by someone who just walks in and tosses a grenade then leaves. IDIOTS!

  3. Swamp Thing Says:

The TSA was established to give democrats another voting block. They never let a crisis go to waste, no matter how big.

  4. Weer'd Beard Says:

Swamp Thing, TSA was created by Bush.

This is simply another voting block dependent on the .gov for their welfare which knows no party lines if properly pandered.

Used to be the slave plantations used to produce cotton fiber, now they produce votes and tax revenue.

  5. SPQR Says:

Certainly, the TSA was created during the Bush administration, and President Bush signed the legislation. But its creation was demanded by both Democrats and Republicans as part of the “something must be done” nonsense post 9/11.

Mostly Democrats. Republicans wanted the screening done by private companies; the Democrats were the ones who insisted that it be federalized.

Honestly, this is nothing new if you’ve been paying attention at all the last decade, but at least this is a convenient write up to point folks at.

My take-away was that Susan Hallowell wears a thong. Ye flippin’ Gods, but I’m going to need some extra-strength mind bleach to get that image out of there….
