One use: if built with that as the first stock on the gun it is not a rifle. As it is not a rifle, handgun, or shotgun, in CA one can make the argument that it cannot be an assault rifle/handgun/shotgun, and thus exempt from most laws. Yes, there is a company marketing it for just that reason.

When we do our machine gun shoot next week we’ll likely have a full-auto AR set up with KNS spade grips in 22LR on a tripod with some 50-round Black Dog drum mags handy. The kids (and most of us) love it!!
