What media bias?

All manner of press coverage for the failed Starbuck’s Boycott. Not so much for the more successful buycott. Weak sauce to be expected from the shills in the press. Starbucks is doing it’s best to stay out of the debate, which is the smart play. And they continue to let the law-abiding patronize their stores, which is all you can expect.

I don’t know about other areas, but the Starschmucks near my place of employment was packed to the rafters with iDevice-wielding caffeine enthusiasts yesterday. Maybe the boycotters had the wrong address?

  2. Joe Huffman Says:

I was interviewed by the Los Angeles Times this morning about my visit to Starbucks yesterday. It seemed friendly enough but we’ll see how the article turns out later today or tomorrow.

Just think of the press if we did the Buycott for a week…..

  4. Timmeehh Says:

I just did a Google search for news of the Starbuck’s boycott. Most of the stories were about right wing nut jobs who want to boycott Starbuck’s because it supports gay marriage. Ya can’t win for losing.

  5. Joe Huffman Says:

The LA Times article is on line now. It looks reasonable. For Los Angeles it’s awesome.

The reporter is based in Seattle and recognized the Starbucks store I visited.

  6. Kirk Parker Says:

I went into my localest Starbucks yesterday. (I’m not a coffee drinker, so I hardly every go there myself, though it is a convenient place to meet w/people and I do that from time to time.)

I mentioned to the barista that I heard there was a boycott so I wanted to make sure and come in to buy something–without mentioning exactly who or what the boycott was. She clearly hadn’t even heard of the boycott, but also laughed and said, “We’re *always* getting boycotted, comes with the territory.”

    Heh.

    Yeah, I think we’re winning.

There are now 5 starbucks locations serving beer.. Wait until the anti gunners get their dirty paws on this. They will try and encourage all locations to sell beer because most states do not allow alcohol and guns to be in the same location…

  8. Jay21 Says:

I still think they should get a booth at SHOT and have SHOT show coffee deals

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
