Guns in NY

NYC Police officers charged with dealing guns into NYC. This is, of course, because of other states’ lax gun laws.

    Obviously the anti-gun commercial wasn’t shown in the precincts of the 5 boroughs.

    Maybe these officers are looking to move to ATF?

    Probably stealing the guns in Virginia. I mean, they’ve practically got pistols in vending machines there…

    Unpossible. Everyone knows that cops are the only breed of humans that can be trusted with guns. I see it on TV every night– cops and other public servants are saints.

    Here’s the money quote;
    “Interesting, is it not, that even the folks tasked with upholding the law have a hard time doing so when the lure of easy money is tossed their way? And why is it easy money? Because the government either restricts access to a product folks are going to buy anyways or puts burdensome tariffs on otherwise legal items. Restrict the supply without a change in demand and it brings about those willing to circumvent the law – it’s a story that’s as old as society itself.”

    Exactly, and I further submit that such is the intent behind the various Prohibition schemes. We know what happens from taking a cursory glance at the history of alcohol Prohibition, so any further such lagislative nonsense must therefore be the willful creation of black markets. Either that or the law makers involved are blitheringly stupid.

    Or they’re both evil and stupid, and in any case they have absolutely no business in public office.

    But no; anyone who cares a whit can easily determine the truth of black market creation with almost zero effort, and so they have to be doing it on purpose. QED. They should all be in jail.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
