Next, they may let 19 year old combat veterans buy beer.

Ten years too late for me, but I’m glad it’s being done, and especially glad that it’s my state doing it. If you could see my face, you’d see a proud look upon it.
When I got back from Iraq in 2003, two of my friends and I tried to get into a bar in Lake Havasu City. I was TWO WEEKS from my 21st birthday, and they were both 19… and they wouldn’t let us in. Fortunately, the local members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (#4299) had a Ribeye night and gave us all we could eat, and everyone bought us drinks the whole night from the bar. Made us sing Karaoke, which was unpleasant, but a wonderful bunch of folks.
