TN cops don’t get paid enough to buy their own damn jenningses?

In Massachusetts They don’t do paperwork, the tag says its in X locker, and X locker is empty…sorry about that!

  3. SPQR Says:

For a Jennings? What a moron.

  4. Craig Says:

In his defense, he has been saving up for the last 6 months for a 9 mm Highpoint.

This Is A Real Head Scratcher. Why Put Yourself Out There Like That For A Piece Of Crap 150.00 Gun.Maybe Had Some Kind Of Sentimental Value.Pretty Stupid.

  6. RobertM Says:

Well, remember they don’t hire smart people to be cops.

  7. Leatherwing Says:

What I find interesting is that he is going to be fired for trying to acquire a presumably easy to purchase handgun. How many officers get no punishment for tasing, beating, threatening real people? Why such a harsh punishment in this case when others are glossed over?

  8. Fin Says:

Maybe he needed a “drop gun” for “just in case”. Just sayin’

I’m thinking Off. Fowler did something recently to get kicked out the club. This is just their way of saying “thanks”. Not saying he was “framed” but things like this rarely make it to Internal affairs, with out some inside help.

  10. Anon R.D. Says:

    Fin’s comment is awfully plausible.

  11. Jeff from DC Says:

Is this the same mike fowler that pulled his want out on another female officer, or do officers name mike fowler inevitably run afoul of the law?

That is exactly what I was thinking. Happens all the time.

I had a jennings. Damn thing went off in my house when I racked the slide. Bad sear. Bad gun.

  13. Kristopher Says:

I’ll bet most seized guns in this jurisdiction end up in cops’ homes.

This one got caught because the source of the weapon wasn’t a criminal. He just assumed no one would question anything.

  14. Robert Says:

IN ANY LEO shop, everyone in the place would go to jail if an outside audit of the evidence room was taken. EVERYONE.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
