   I’m surprised they don’t make pocket .25s with double stack mags. The individual rounds are so small you won’t necessarily have to give up a lot of space. And .25 is rimless unlike .32acp or .22lr.

   Yes the round sucks, but if you give me 15-20 of them in very small package with little recoil…

   I know a couple of our Sweet Old Ladies up here on the North Coast who recently got there CHPs by taking a class using .22LR’s. No Minimum Caliber Restrictions on what one has to use for the Training Portion. Also, notice this Taurus’ update of the old Beretta Design. The Tip-Up barrel allows Condition One w/o having to rack the slide, which can be hard on Elderly Arthritic Hands. Trust me, I would NOT want to be a Goblin facing one of those Ladies.

   Besides, it beats the Hell out of a Lit Candle.

   Just a nit-pick that 25 ACP is semi-rimmed.

   Oh, and that Taurus is one of the ugliest pocket pistols I have ever seen.

   It would be good for dispatching varmints in my trap. The buckmark is kinda big to lug around. Thing is, what with the new .22 LCR, I don’t know which one I would want more…

   I just bought a Beretta 21A last year. Its hardly a serious defensive gun (might be a reasonable backup gun) but its fun and I like it.

   Oh and it isn’t an ugly buggy Taurus.

   Well, they never went away but they weren’t as seemingly popular as the pocket 380s.

   There were no pocket .380s when the pocket .2xs were seemingly popular.

    Um, I have some double stack .22LR mags that would take issue with your expectations of the semi rimless cartridges.

    oh, and i’ve shot one of these recently. they’re so much better than the old Taurii that there’s really no comparison.

    Ever been attacked by a gang of 5 year olds? Sometimes you need 20 or 30 rounds of 22.
