    So apparently Plaxico’s mistake was not just leaving the gun in the club and calling security to tell them to pick it up.

    If that misdemeanor could have resulted in a sentence exceeding 1 year, he has lost his right to arms under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).

    That’s got to be changed.

    I like the last comment on the article. It’s the “cries racism” guy. Yet consider that the ones he is calling racist is the left wing liberal democrat. I might be content with letting it slip just this once.

    As with other parts of the Constution, I suppose the 14th Amendment, which along with the 13th ended legal slavery, no longer applies, except maybe to appease and accommodate ILLEGAL immigration:

    Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    No wonder Constitutionalists are despised and disdained in the establishments of both major parites who prefer an arbitrary governemnt of the elite ruling class.

    So Cyrus Vance, Jr. gets to say he “Punished” a “Illegal Gun-totting Fascist”, thus keeping the streets of NYC safe, all w/o having to run the risk of becoming the Next “Heller” or “MacDonald.” Guess that makes his Boss, “Mayor-for-Life Mickey Bloomburg” happy.

    The law is the law, except when it’s not.

    When some are punished “because it’s the law”, while others under identical circumstances are not punished, are those punished “because it’s the law”?
    No, they’re punished for some reason other than the law that determines whether or not they are punished, so the law is not the determining factor in their punishment, while some other factor is. That’s usually personal connections, social status, or politics.
