The solution to a bloated government program

Is another bloated government program:

Two New York lawmakers have called for a passenger advocate at airports to immediately act on complaints by passengers over security screenings.

U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer and state Sen. Michael Gianaris of Queens want the Transportation Security Administration to create the position at all airports.

Wow. It boggles the mind.

Let me get this straight….Schumer wants the TSA to provide a “passenger advocate” to review complaints about the TSA…..

    Ok…..wow.

  2. JD Says:

Hey how about this idea. . . Get rid of the TSA and go back to private (can be held responsible) companies to do this crap. . . TSA is no better than we had before anyway and would save us $$$. . .

Ya I know, will never happen. . .

  3. Mike Says:

TSA Passenger Advocate: “Ma’am, Ma’am, please calm down. The TSA officers who anally probed you were following proper procedure. Have a nice day and thank you for supporting TSA in its work to keep the Homeland safe.”

Now, how much effort does it take to train someone to give people that line over and over? Hell, you don’t even need a real live person. Just set up a speaker booth (like you have at any fast-food joint), have the rapee push a button, and that sheep can go back to grazing happily in the meadow.

I really need to start drinking again.

  5. Jeffersonian Says:

No, don’t start drinking. Spend the money on powder and primers.

  6. James C. Says:

It’s a “Jobs Program”: A worthless bureaucrat, with a management structure, support structure, union (dues payable to any political party with a D).

Just another invasive, leaching entity that can never be gotten rid of.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
