    a-yup!

    And a BAR weighs 20 pounds…

  3. fucema Says:

I agree with all four points, and yet I continue to carry my 1911 for now.

The fourth point got a few chuckles from me.

“… just grab another soulless Glock from the safe …”

I carry a Glock, and still I yearn for a BAR.

What’s the Big Deal? I can go to any Gun Show and pick up Dropped Guns all the time. Of course, since they’re French and Italian Military weapons…

  6. Lyle Says:

You can of course decide to not care about your two kilodollar 1911 or your beautiful S&W blued steel and custom wood grip revolver too. I will admit that it’s easier to not care about a Glock though. I certainly don’t care about mine, and if you saw it you’d know I don’t care about it. I don’t know how many times I’ve ground the end of the slide into the concrete or gravel while working under a vehicle, etc.

  7. Beaumont Says:

Yes, they go bang every time. And, once in a while, one of the 3rd Gens seems to go “Boom!” all over a shooter’s surprised face.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
