Bill to ban open carry of unloaded firearms signed into law. So much for speculation on his supposed pro-gun attitude.

Yeah! They’re going to ride this law and the Perodua decision straight into judicially imposed Shall Issue.
Don’t throw me into that briar patch, Brer Fox!

Too bad California’s regulations of petroleum and animals probably did away with the means to tar and feather their legislature.
I say we need a fence, and call Cali a loss. Sorry guys, you made it this way.

[“California families will now be able to take their families to the park or out to eat without the worry of getting shot by some untrained, unscreened, self-appointed vigilante.”]
What a joke. I love how they will uphold the 1st amendment, but trample on the 2nd.

Well, I predicted this over a year ago. Is ANYONE here going to hold CalGuns’ feet to the fire for this one?
At the very least, CalGuns badly underestimated their enemy, and their in-your-face tactics to try to change the public’s attitude more towards gun-friendly were a public relations disaster.
To me, their tactics remind me of the heavy-handed way CA works to get around the 2A.
Two wrongs never make a right.

Gee rivrdog, maybe cowering in the corner with our guns for a few more decades would have made a difference. I guess we’ll just have to fight this head on like… all the other fights calguns has won with little to no help from the NRA and the crpa.
Any other bright ideas about advancing california’s gun rights? Because apperantly the last four years of progress don’t count.
