I’m still going to have to leave my gun in the stupid car, though. Grr.

    Baby steps, baby steps.

Can’t say. Some translate “apud Deum autem omnia possibilia sunt” as “With God, all things are possible.” After you’ve lived here awhile, “O God! Anything can happen!” becomes the preferred variant.

(I regret the Vulgarity. Aphorisms come out shorter — easier to carve in stone — in Ovid’s style. Me say Deo; daylight, she come).

Actually, I expect several things to happen tomorrow. I expect there will be a flurry at some of the Big Restaurant/Grill Chains who are Anti Gun to run out to the Office Max and get Signs to post on their doorways. I expect those who don’t have the Signs to treat it as “Business as Usual”. I expect someone will OPEN CARRY (Legal under Ohio Law) into a place that has no signs and order a Cold One, and someone will “Snitch,” thus causing the local police to show up, create a scene, and have this go to court ( remember the Law says CCW holders can go, but not Drink). The Defendant will say that the Law applies to CCW, not OC, and we’ll have to call in the Alans from SAF.

That doesn’t even touch what will happen when a CCW Holder tries to go to the Cleveland Municipal Stadium (Owned by the City, NOT the NFL) armed and gets stopped. And of course, the second it goes into effect, the 245,000+ CCW holders in Ohio will INSTANTLY head to the nearest Bar and Kill Dozens of Barflys in an Orgy of Destruction.

    I blame Bush, of course.

Interesting choice of picture with that article – that’s clearly a police officer’s weapon (a left-handed police officer, no less!)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
