    A put-down and a bad pun – well played, sir….

They’re a one-shot carry-where-you-can’t gun. That one does look more like a flare shooter model that I have. The really good(covert) ones look more like pens and aren’t so obvious.

    “To be cool”.

That’s the point. Nothing really practical about it.

Because the pen is mightier than the sword, and we want to keep it that way. Geeze.

A now departed friend of mine who worked for a government agency known for it’s discreetness had a much more “pen-like” version of this concept. I could fire a .22LR round or a round treated with cyanide for… um… dogs. The one he had is not legal for civilians to own. He said they coast about $1000 each.

He said it was useful in places where a gun was to difficult to get past security screenings.

    Impractical.

A one shot gun that most likely has to be a contact shot because it can’t be aimed or fired at a distance of more than 5 inches. One of the tactical pens would be a more practical covert weapon. If you successfully make the kill, then you have accomplished the same thing but have not sent a very loud signal to your location and actions.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
