It is because crack dealers shoot back and the only people to harass other than children are jay walkers.. Of course those hardened jaywalkers generally get taken out by the SWAT…

Any history of other groups being arrested for selling things on the mall? T-Shirt vendors, food vendors, anything like that? The cops could have been nicer, though.
If they were ordered to arrest the kids from higher ups, they could have done so without pushing the camera guy. Every time someone pushes a camera guy, you know they’re feeling a little guilty about what they’re doing.

The cops arresting the vendors I have little problem with–that is the reason the vendors went.
What really upset me about that video is how the cops decided to intimidate the customers instead of immediately arresting the vendors.
It was wierd.
