Guns, ammo, gold, food, – sensible investments in the Obama economy with the Dow dropping like a rock. We knew it was going to suck, but this bad? Sheesh! He should resign. He can teach his theory of government in Caracas and Havana; the governments there would appreciate it.

am assuming that they bought out Frontier ?

    oops. Aparently not.

If true, will be interesting to see what having ranges in adjacent properties will do for competition and annual range fees.

This makes absolutely no sense. Why would CCA want to open a new range just down the road from Frontier Firearms unless they are trying to drive them out of business? It seems that choosing a new location with no nearby competition (say Emory Road/I-75)would be better. It will interesting to hear from CCA why they think this is a good business strategy and a overall benefit to the shooting community.

+1 Mike. As a business strategy, this sucks. It’s also worth noting that the gun store that once occupied the building where CCA is now went broke because of dunderheaded decisions. Could history repeat?

Oh, BTW, the staff at Frontier is, on the whole, more friendly and welcoming to customers than the staff at CCA. CCA has had a problem with employee attitudes since they first opened their doors. One wonders if they will export those same attitudes to their new location.

  6. Mike Says:

I agree with Beaumont’s assessment of CCA. I have really never felt as welcome there as I do at Frontier. It’s not that I have had a bad experience but rather the overall “friendliness” of each business. Oh well, we just have to wait and see what happens.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
