Flying the friendly skies

Pilot loses gun. IIRC, pilots can only have their weapons while in the cockpit when it’s locked. And they must leave them in their bag until they get there. This policy seems to be causing some problems. This is not the first time unnecessary gun handling via bureaucratic fiat contributed to gun safety issues on plane. A bit back, a pilot had a discharge in the cockpit.

Sounds like time to get DEA Agent Lee Paige to go give a little in-service training!

He he he, He said “discharge in the cockpit”… I apologize now but couldn’t resist.

I notice they’re considering revoking his Fed Flight Deck Officer status.

So if any other po-po misplaces his handgun, does he lose his badge over it?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
