I think I’d just let them go
Hospital mistakenly gives man’s dentures to family of a dead guy. Dead guy buried with dentures. Man wants them back. So the body is to be exhumed.

Seems like it would be a lot better to just make the hospital pay for the cost of replacing them. I don’t think I would want to put some dentures in that had been sitting in some dead guy’s mouth.

I heard this on the news last night, and was confused as to who wanted what from whom!
Grieving people sometimes don’t think straight, what with all the grief …
@Bob – The rightful owner of the dentures doesn’t want them back, and the hospital is going to pay for the replacement dentures. It’s apparently the deceased’s relative who don’t want someone elses dentures in his coffin … go figure!

wait, the deceased’s survivors care so much about a pair of dentures they’ll have their late family member exhumed over it? i’ll have to make a note if i ever write a will; if something like that happens, and i don’t toss the offending item out of the coffin myself, then i don’t care and just let it rot with me.
