Press calling for gun control
PROMISES, PROMISES: No action from Obama on guns. Looks like the press and anti-gunners (but I repeat myself) have been asking Obama to do something about gun violence. No real plans just wishes.
Also, noted in the article is that the NRA continues its policy of not participating in the gun control talks at the justice department. Good. It’s a nice way to illustrate the pointlessness of these talks.

Okay, so they’re not talking, but Obama has really delivered on our need for more gun violence, so that we can call for more gun control, which as you have noticed, is exactly what we’re doing! All your gun violence is belong to us! And we’re making sure that you have plenty of it! Ha! Ha! It should be a cinch to pass more gun control laws aimed at law-abiding gun owners after this. After all, it’s the private owners and dealers that we’re blaming for this, and our friends in the media are sure to play along with us, as they so reliably do! Ha! Ha!”

(And to be fair, not all of the press are gun-grabbers. Just most of ’em.)
