My life would suck too if I was married to Hillary Clinton’s wife.
Huma’s not there for Anthony’s career, she’s there for Hillary Clinton’s career. Those women are using him for a douche bag.
While I can’t stand Weiner personally, or his politics either, I do feel sorry for him in his personal situation, though it’s not as if it’s not self-inflicted – it is. Wuss that he is, he decided that it would be okay for him to marry “tough guy” Hillary’s wife.
Did Huma and Hillary decide that their intimate relationship needed a sham marriage to give them political cover, much like Hillary’s own sham marriage? Did a skinny wuss with self-esteem issues like Weiner make the perfect patsy for a scheming and manipulative pair of globe-trotting, lesbian lovers? All that sexual frustration on his part had to be coming from somewhere.
Hillary, swirling vortex of pure evil that she is, destroys everything she comes in contact with, and apparently, if the rumors are true, she’s been “coming” in contact with Huma for a long time, with a hugely destructive effect on Anthony.

I find it a bit to coincidental that just after they speak to the 17-yr old, he makes this move. The Dem leaders turn on him, and he makes this move. Perhaps he was smart enough not to send her pictures of his junk but the way the laws are written these days if he was anything past disinterested polite with the “child” professing undying lust for him, he’s got problems.
Is the prosecutor in Delaware a Democrat? If so, they may aspire to Massachusetts standards of cover-up for connected Democrats.

-there wasn’t anything sexual about his conversations with the 17 year old

We don’t know that YOU didn’t either. Luckily for both Weiner and you, that’s not how we go about establishing guilt, by demanding that the accused prove they DIDN’T do something, which—depending on the crime—might be impossible.
If I accuse you of sending pics of your junk to a 17 year old, I have to provide evidence to back up my claim, and you’re assumed to be innocent of the charge unless I can prove you’re guilty.
I don’t know that haven’t murdered people. That doesn’t make you a murderer.

There’s a huge difference between investigating something and stating that something has occured.
As far as I can tell, in the case of the 17 year old, the only “OMG” thing is that the messages were “private” (direct messages) and not public replies. But that is a huge leap to assume that because they were DMs, that they must have been innapropriate at best, and at worst, contained pictures of his dick.
I send direct messages to people on Twitter all the time—they are neither innapropriate nor do they contain dick pics—they are just communications not intended for my entire Twitter feed.

And on Patterico’s blog, there is a good circumstantial case made that Weiner was discussing obscene topics with the 17 year old given the context of what has been released. That’s evidence to the contrary.

Surely, if he HAD sent anything inappropriate to a minor, he would have resigned so that this thing would go away, unless, he didn’t know she was a minor.
