Yes, they are

Joe: Are they saying there is no law, no act, no outrage so terrible that the individual has no legal option but to endure it?

  1. John Smith. Says:

Sounds like they think everyone should take in the butt smile and say thank more please….

  2. Kevin Baker Says:

    That’s been GEErnst’s position forever.

  3. divemedic Says:

They are still taking the position that the second is a “collective right.” Is that all they have? Believing that there is no right to a second amendment remedy, I guess they believe that the escaped slaves were not allowed to resist?

Another glaring error is the assumption in the article that we are a democracy. That is also not true, but anti gunner statists don’t believe that until THEY are in the minority.

  4. Shootin' Buddy Says:

Technically, isn’t the right to revolution contained in the Ninth Amendment, not the Second?

  5. Chas Says:

Markie Marxist sez: “We Marxists, being highly principled people, believe in peace and justice. “Peace” means we’re in power, so we get to use our power to kill our political enemies for the sake of peace. “Justice” means we’re out of power, so we have to struggle to kill our political enemies for the sake of justice. So you see, it’s just common communist sense for us to believe in peace and justice. Those principles really work for us, though for private gun owners, not so much. It’s kind of a lose/lose proposition for them, since they end up dead either way.”

  6. GEErnst Says:

After many pages of ignorant and fallacious pandering to a malignant constituency to disparage
the original civic purpose manifest in the colonial militia acts, the Constitution, the Second
Amendment, the Militia Act of 1792 and the state militia acts to invent a right to be privately
armed for private purpose Judge Silberman in Parker arrived at the conclusion that we can have
“registration … for militia service if called up”.
    http://www.potowmack.org/cong7.pdf, p. 17
That is the original civic purpose.
The NRA’s “armed citizen guerrillas,” no different from the Nazi Party’s Stormtroopers, need their guns to protect themselves from tyrannical encroachments of government. The rest of us depend on this government to protect us from “armed citizen guerrillas”.
    http://www.potowmack.org/cong7.pdf, p. 3
The greatest danger to constitutional government and political liberty is failed political leadership. The NRA’s “armed citizen guerrillas” don’t have to worry. We have failed political leadership.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
