Add in an aging Transmission System and a Hot Summer, why, one can have the pleasure of living in Cities that have no AC, Lights or Alarm Systems due to Rolling Blackouts. But since the Elites won’t be affected, it’ll just be the Poor and the Working Class who have to suffer. Of course, if your Goal is to have Mass Rioting to occur like in the 60’s, so you can declare a “Nationwide State of Emergency” and impose Martial Law, while Congress dithers….

How else are they going to make solar competitive without subsidies when figuring in the total cost of ownership?
Shut down the coal plants, blow up the hydro dams, and refuse to build the next generation of clean, safe nuclear power.
