Reuters reported that 70% of comments on ATF’s inquiry on multiple rifle sales supported the measure. Digging into it, John found that there was some sort of bulk mailing going on that originated from Mayors Against Guns.

If the NRA or SAF or GOA did a mass-mailing thing, the ATF would write it up as tampering and toss out all those postcards. But, since MAIG has done it, the inflated results will be accepted without comment.

I knew that sh*t looked fishy. How many of the exact-same-worded letters spontaneously appeared on the other side of the issue, I wonder.
