Meanwhile in Mexico

Hmm: Large portion of firearms in Mexico’s violence come from the U.S. government

And: What’s Really Happening Along the US/Mexico Border?

  1. Chas Says:

The US government will sell M-16’s en masse to corrupt, foreign officials who resale them to drug cartels, but these guns, paid for by the American public, cannot be sold to American citizens. That needs to change.
The US government should make old M-16’s available to the public for no charge. That way we won’t have to pay for them twice.

Last night CNBC was replaying a documentry pushing the Mexican gun canard.
