An Airgun is an annoyance,not a threat. True, you could kill someone with an airgun under ideal circumstances if you shot them in the head at close range, but you could MORE easily kill them by simply hitting them in the head with a blunt instrument. You could carve a projectile weapon out of wood that was more lethal. As far as most airguns go, you’d be better off cracking them one with the toe of the woodstock than you would by shooting them with it. This isn’t even about regulating something that’s potentially dangerous, this is about showing the people of Scotland who their masters are.
