The people respond
Gun sales up 60% in AZ. People have asked me why gun sales are up. Simple, I think. They fear politicians overreacting and doing something stupid like banning regular capacity magazines or Glocks. Glock sales up too.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

I say it is because they realize some whacko may try to copycat. I bet if there were a way to check, the number of people carrying firearms is up as well.

The downside, however, will be the dealers who jack up their prices because “THEY MIGHT BE BANNED TOMORROW! BUY THEM NOW!”

in 2007 I saw someone selling pre-ban sig mags for $100/ea, because “they might ban them again”

I’ve a good friend who manages a gun store. He says it’s panic over what might be banned, as well a fledgling ‘capitalists’ who want Glock mags at today’s price, to sell inflated when the ban returns.
Problems?
1. Ban probably will not return
2. He wants to serve all his customers, so he limits
multiple mag purchases.
