Well, that’s weird

Ok: An Italian man has astonished doctors by sneezing a bullet out through his nose after being shot in the head.

wow … well I guess it goes to show that a bullet to the cranial ocular cavity doesn’t do a whole lot of damage unless the bullet reaches the lower brain.

Jim Cirillo used to tell a similar story from the stakeout squad days.

Robber took a muzzle contact .38 (IIRC) to the face at drug store. Knocked the robber out. He awoke and blew his nose dislodging the bullet from his nasal passage.

The robber later walked to the ambulance.

I knew a cop who got shot from about five feet away, and removed the bullet out with his fingers. He was shot with a .380, and (he was working undercover) he was wearing a heavy P-coat. The bullet hit dead center where the coat was buttoned up, went through two layers of it, and lodged against his sternum, which got a hairline crack. The pullet he pulled out of the skin over the sternum with his fingers.

Except, IIRC, the guy in Cirillo’s story had taken a bunch of .38 LRN to the noggin, one of which he sneezed out.
