Start with 10% across the board, every line item, and go from there. When the screaming stops, do it again.

I applaud Boehner. When any conservative agrees to an interview with Brian Williams, he should know to expect ambush questions and only airing of out-of-context quotes.
If he had said anything specific, the MSM would have something to attack with – it would be 24/7 coverage, and the Uneducated Middle would be calling to demand that X not be cut.
What would have him admit to: education, EPA, regulation of tobacco? If he had announced a cut to funding for research into the mating behavior of fruit flies, NPR and the nightly news would have a half-hour in depth report on the importance of fruit fly sex to the nation.

2 Department of homeland Security
3 BATFE
4 DEA
