Uhm, you are. Isn’t the press supposed to be the fourth branch of government and all? You know, holding public officials accountable and all that? Sure, the press sucks at that job because they want to maintain access to the powerful and are beholden to some corporate interests. But it is their job. Guess that has to change since they don’t realize that.
