The droid apps you’re looking for

A cool list and some are new to me. I did not know about the Reader app.

Aldiko works pretty well. And use Calibre to convert formats. Very useful on long plane trips.

The Reader app came out less than a week ago. It makes sense that you hadn’t ever heard about it.

Wow. Impressive list, and a keeper. Thanks for posting. Went Droid 2 Global, turned off the BBerry and have zero regrets. BTW, I am sort of in to land navigation and the Droid GPS is better than my car’s Garmin. That’s saying something.

I’ve used Greed as my Reader/ RSS reader for a while now. Does what I need it to do.

I only stumbled across Reader because it cropped up in AppBrain, and I am still in the “ooh, shiny” mode… But, synching with its online counterpart is simply awesome.

I have to echo what MJM said about GPS, too… having a handheld, voice-prompting, tied-to-Google-Maps system wherever I go is a feature not to be underestimated.

    Thanks for the linkage :).

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
