    In Texas, “indigent” citizens get a 50% reduction in CHL fees.

    At least in most counties in the state, the permit is lifetime. I think overall it is cheaper than the tn carry permit.

    That’s a good idea for the TN legislature to take up. But I hope they go for the no permit law like Alaska, Vermont, Arizona and I think Virginia has which would be directly pursuant to the DECLARED RIGHT in Article I, Section 26 of our State Constitution’s Declaration of Rights.

    But a lifetime HCP, instead of every 4 yr renewal, would be good for use in the 30+ states that honor or have reciprocity with TN HCP’s.
