Your post re Bill Clinton and guns reminds me of when I bought my SKS, at a gun show, from a crate full, for $89. During Clinton era. I bought it mostly out of attitude–because I could–and named it my “Bill and Hillary Special.”
Later, I realized the Clintons had probably struck a deal with NORINCO to permit export-import in return for the now infamous Chinese campaign contributions.

Not only Clinton, but his predecessor Bush and now Obama are anti-gun. Even Bush supported the AWB and would ahve signed it’s renewal IF Congress ahd passed it.

I remember seeing pallets myself at the gun shows and thinking to myself, “I already own a couple, why should I buy some more?”.
Now I keep kicking myself for not buying those SKS rifles at those crazy prices back then.
