The problem
Caught The Daily Show interview with Ted Kaufman, who took Biden’s senate seat after the ascension. You can see the interview here. It’s another case of same planet, different worlds. I watch these two yammer on and on about how the problem with the system in this country is that the senate keeps killing bills. And bills die in the senate. Really? Because if there’s one thing we have in this country, it’s a shortage of laws.
Also, Kaufman says this congress passed more laws than any other since FDR. I think I see the problem.

The problem is that the House passes too many stupid bills.

It’s a matter of quality over quantity. We don’t need more laws. We need fewer, better laws. We don’t need more revenue, we need our current revenue to be better spent.
