Ummmmm…. wasnt this the same song and dance that the Dems did for sooooooooooo long about the GOP “fear mongering”?

  2. BobG Says:

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
    -H. L. Mencken

    BobG,

Great quote! It describes what’s happening where “terror” events are either contrived or allowed to happen by willing persons as a pretext for tyrannical measures here and unconstitutional wars abroad while our own nation is allowed to be invaded and actually OCCUPIED, as are portions of Arizona.

Our enemy is and has been in Washington D.C.

I’m not real temped to believe this. Republicans hold a substantial edge in polling on the “Who do you trust more to deal with terrorists?” I’m not sure what this would gain “His Holiness”. The fact that it’s coming from a Pakistani official (who we have been cross threaded with for while) and the EU who have been caught up short recently on terror stuff seems like this could be self serving on the other side of the pond. I’m more than willing to believe Da’ One would do or say ANYTHING to help in November, but I don’t see how this helps him.

Hmm. Wonder if this has any relation to Jim Jones leaving the Admin in 2 weeks? Plus the former Commandant is being replaced by a Staff Yes Man with NO Military/Intelligence/Terrorism experience. Another rat leaving a sinking ship, or someone smart enough to leave the Fuhrer Bunker before its too late? By the way, anyone seen Hillary lately? REAL Low Profile from her the last few months or so, No?

  6. Jerry Says:

@Les, you would bring up Jim Jones, while at the same time, I am drinking a glass of, uhm, a really SWEET energy drink.

It worked for Clinton in ’96 after a low-yield fertilizer bomb by itself supposedly brought down a large portion of a building in OKC. (Never mind that local OKC media reported that day that bombs, yes that’s bombS, were still in the building to be defused. Clinton was successly able to totally blame that on “right-wing,domestic terrorists” AND those with views opposed to his.

Now let’s see, the government (along with the Southern Poveryt Law Center, has and is warning us against the danger of right-wing, tea-party, constitutionalists, gunowners,big-gov’t, anti-illegal immigration, pro-life and returning military veterans. That would fit nicely in the current political climate (as in ’95) if “The One” had a reason to lead and save us from that alleged enemy!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
