18 to 20 Year Olds and Handguns

John Richardson has a look at NRA’s lawsuits challenging the ban on sales.

One Response to “18 to 20 Year Olds and Handguns”

This is one that CHAPS MY ASS! This past wkend I took a friend to my local gun shop to buy himself a lower, he wanted a rifle(an AR in particuler) and money being tight etc, it is cheaper to build than to buy. We looked at all of the different brands and options available and I offered guidance from my experiance, and he picked one out. He was then informed that lowers are now classified as “other” on form 4473 and that since he was only 19, he could not purchase a lower, but they would be more than happy to sell him a whole rifle(150 to 500 more with variables of coarse) he respectfully declined and we went away. This is too much, the lowers are(or used to be) designated for long gun or pistol from the maker, so why then is a lower designated as “other” they say because you “could” use it to build a pistol which of coarse would be illegal. I would argue that if they could afford to build said pistol and really wanted a lower, they would simply purchase a rifle and use the lower from IT to build said pistol! These people are IDIOTS! My question is, you become a legal adult at age 18, so when do the rest or your rights take effect? I mean, does ATF decide that?! There is a REAL PROBLEM HERE and I hope SOMEONE SUES other than just the NRA!! INIDIVIDUAL RIGHTS ARE AT STAKE!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
