Radical Gay Agenda

Not so radical after all. Related, former RNC chair comes out swinging and discusses why Republicans should find common ground with gay people.

As far as I can tell, the only reason Republicans and gays don’t get along is because, you know, your Republican leadership makes it policy to hate the gays to pander to another minority. Just like Democrats.

I hope the Gays are waking up and realize the group that does make speeches to them hate them just as much as the group that doesn’t.

No party will make peace with the gays so long as one party is rewarded for faking tolerance and acting on homophobia.

I think it’s a generational thing – my parents, diehard conservative Christian Republicans, are very against the “Radical Gay Agenda”. I’m in my 40s, and I just don’t care one way or the other, it’s not something to get worked up about, but I do care about judges making law from the bench. Gay marriage goes on the ballot, I’m probably voting for it, depending on the precise wording. Gay marriage judicially imposed? Would be evidence that we’re heading closer and closer to a time where the blood of patriots and tyrants will refresh the tree of liberty.

The Country-Club republicans and Junior League-ers don’t want ’em to get married on their golf course.

When the wanker came out of the closet, sort of – he thinks he might be gay – my first reaction was . . . I really don’t care.

The one thing the persistent gays don’t seem to get is that most of us define ourselves through means other than a sex act. If that’s all you are, fine. I wouldn’t necessarily advertise that fact, but then that’s me.

And in the same vein that I do not want to hear Bubba talking over the water cooler about his banging a bunch of broads last weekend, or my boss talking about the S&M club he belongs to, I don’t want to hear about a gay’s sex life either. It’s about manners, it’s about TMI, it’s about respecting other people.

Gays don’t get that, at least all of the public and professional gays don’t.

Of course, Bubba or your boss don’t have to worry about losing their jobs, friends, or family, or getting beaten to death if the wrong people see them holding hands with their SO’s, either.

The one thing the persistent gays don’t seem to get is that most of us define ourselves through means other than a sex act.

Gays who “define themselves by a sex act” do so in direct response to others defining them by that act first, whether the gays wanted it or not. Any gay person who is politically active in stopping oppression of gays will be “defined by a sex act” whatever else he does – it’s better to do it himself and take some control over how it’s done than to leave it to his opponents.

Are we going to believe someone who pushed for amnesty despite the wishes of the base? I’m sure most people also share the same goals of pedophiles, goat lovers, trans sexuals, Muslims, neo Nazis and the like. Can’t we all just get along.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
