    Up until recently, it looked cheap and easy to push restrictions at the federal level. After all, it’s easier and cheaper to buy a majority of 435, a majority of 100, and the occupant of 1600 PA Ave NW, than to do the same in statehouses across the land.

    Except, hey, it looks like if you do the hard work you don’t HAVE to buy the national congresscritters…
