I cannot believe
I sat through the whole damn thing
Norton can act, right?

Sure, but that doesn’t mean he was trying. Bring on Mark Ruffalo for Avengers, I say – he was great in Shutter Island.

Norton can act OK,

snubs nose at big money

And Ed Norton on a bad day was still better than Eric Bana.
OTOH, Eric Bana could have given the best performance in history, and it still would have been overshadowed by the hideous directing and cinematography.

Have you seen the new “Clash of the Titans”, yet? The daughter sat through it and did not complain but I got the feeling that it was too overwhelming for her.

The Hulk suffered from script problems. Sometimes hard to see in print, but once on scene they knew it and phoned it in. It was mostly shot well and there were some really good elements to build on at least.
It also suffered from (some) casting problems. Norton was a great pick for Banner, but Tim Roth as special ops? Are you kidding? That guy has spent his entire career proving that he cannot stand up straight. Next up, Pauly Shore as a tough and driven CSAR pilot. *rolls eyes*

That movie was terrible.
I was on the side of the gov’t and Liv Tyler needed to be slapped. All she did was get people killed.
The British Royal Marines should have sued. That slovenly, unshaven, never-used-an-iron icehole as a career Royal Marine was about stupid.

The Hulk?
Are you telling me they made another Hulk movie?
Why?
Wasn’t the last one bad enough?
Shhheeeeeeiiitt.

I liked it pretty well, except that Liv Tyler was reading, not acting, and the Hulk v. Abomination fight went on 10 minutes too long.
The parts in South America were cool. The characters had motivations beyond “I’m good and therefore the hero” and “I’m the bad guy who wants money and power.” Roth’s character was willing to take the super soldier serum to regain the vitality of his lost youth. That worked for me.
