This is when you go to the local papers and proceed to divulge the details of the case to the press. Reporters can be very handy in situations like this. Make enough stink and things will change. Of course you might get arrested and beaten in the meantime. If a judge tells you that ignorance is no excuse please ask under what section is that law listed? They hate that. They also may throw contempt of court at you.
