What he said

Xrlq:

Speculating on Elena Kagan’s sexuality is a no-win.

And, frankly, I don’t care if she eats at the Y.

Speculating on Elena Kagan’s sexuality is a no-win.

Then the lefties should stop it.

  2. Mikee Says:

    Lefties speculate on Kagan’s sexuality.
Lefties then decry all the personal, vicious attacks on Kagan, blaming conservatives for the attacks.
Lefties thus avoid discussing any substantive arguments against Kagan’s nomination.

It is an old tactic. When you can’t win an argument, yell about something else.

  3. Jay G. Says:

I’d much rather speculate on why the media declared Harriet Miers to be unfit to be a USSC judge based on her résumé but has gushed over Kagan…

  4. John Smith Says:

Yeah, she is so ugly sexuality does not matter….

  5. Ohio Sean Says:

What John Smith said…I don’t think her sexuality matters since no one is going to find her attractive. Plus as a Libertarian, I don’t give a damn what anyone does in their personal life. Its PERSONAL.
Anyone of these pundits screaming shes gay ever hear of the Right to Privacy?

  6. iconoclast Says:

I care much more about how Kagan will control MY private behavior than I do about Kagan’s private sexual behavior.

That said, it does seem that the Left are the ones who are worrying the most about whether or not Kagan is gay.

  7. Kristopher Says:

Actually … this could be a conservative win.

Let the Dems have their little witchhunt against closeted gays.

We can just blandly smile and say gender is not as important as one’s political positions.

  8. RosieRac Says:

FOX News is taking this on, so I expect Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh to start talking about it as soon as later today. It’s really not a winning issue but they are going to do what they do.

  9. mariner Says:

Mikee is right. The Dems and their lickspittle leftist lying media will go on in this vein until the country is sick of hearing about it. Then Dems will declare that the debate has gone on long enough and Kagan will be confirmed, without any real look at what little of we know of her history and record, and without much discussion of the fact that just just another New Yourk leftist elitist.

  10. Ron W Says:

    Ohio Sean,

I wish that Kagan was also a libertarian so she wouldn’t care what we did in our personal lives either and, more importantly, would rule as a SCTUS judge according to ALL of the Bill of Rights for ALL of us.

  11. Dan Says:

The thing that irritates me most about Kagan, so far, is her campaign against military recruiters. How could she blame the policy on the military when it was passed by Congress and signed by President Clinton? Don’t facts matter to lawyers? She served in the Clinton administration, for Pete’s sake. There’s no excuse for that kind of dissembling.

  12. Jerry Says:

Her sexuality has nothing to do with it, she is not a good candidate. She lacks experience. This is not NASCAR, it’s the SC. SUPREME court. They interpret the law. And ‘iffin you ain’t warm and fuzzy enough, they don’t seem to like you.

  13. TBagger Says:

Need more women like Laura Bush….

  14. Zun Says:

    Yuck!!!

  15. Paul Says:

To me she lacks any real qualification for the job at SCOTUS. Our janitor has more insight than she does! Look at the jobs she as done. She was awful!

This was a ‘professor’ nominating a ‘professor’ (both inexperienced and both show it.)

  16. red Says:

    Yeah right!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
