A trend
A few local elections had some surprising results. A few incumbents thought safe lost. I wonder if this pattern will continue in national politics?

Town election in Herndon, VA yesterday. Steady turnout though out the day. Was short line when I voted about 1030 hrs. At 1745 hrs when I took my wife traffic at polling place was so heavy Herndon PD dispatched a motor officer to direct traffic. Haven’t seen final figures but voter participation sure seems higher than years past.

If the incumbent losers were big-government Repubs, I hope this is a trend.
